Take Back the Memorial
If you aren't aware of how anti-war advocates are trying to sabotage memorials at Ground Zero, go read Mudville Gazette today.
Governor Pataki, as a citizen of the great state of New York and a Guardsman serving in Iraq, I am livid that you and other former supporters of uniformed services (military, police, fire and emergency rescue) can't find a way to stop this travesty in its tracks.
This is an abomination, and an insult to victims and survivors of 9/11.
And to you artistic types who think making political statements and insulting the dead is appropriate for hallowed ground, you have no idea how absolutely silent you would be if not for the brave souls whose honor you mock and urinate upon. Silent, either because the Tyrant would shut your mouths, chain your legs, or burn your bones.
